wellllllll.....practice, qualifying, pre-final and final for a class add a solid hour to the day. For a proper grid, no one is going to begrudge anyone that. But for 2 or 3 karts.....I think everyone would prefer to go home an hour early.

Also, we must respect our volunteers. How must they feel to spend an extra hour watching 2 karts doing what amounts to an expensive T&T ?

We need to take a position on this as a club and we need to recognize that in the end, some people may not be entirely happy about it but the needs of the many outweigh the needs of a few !

Please read the supplementary regulations it is clearly laid out in them what happens to the open class if any are entered . It is the Race Directors decision on the day not the racers. It was agreed last year that Open would come off the race schedule and be placed in the class most appropriate for it so that Rotax Masters could become a stand alone class. This was discussed and passed at a meeting as I recall because at that time the 4 stroke class openly said they would not exclude any 4 stroke from their class !! Perhaps next year you should bring this up as a recognized change for the begining of the 2013 season ? You can not now change it half way through the season. I would suggest if you want parity come up with a weight the open class has to make. I believe you may find guidance from the US Series.
