That would usually depend on when the damage was done. Tech will let you scan in a tire with similar wear on a race day to replace a damaged one. The key there being similar wear.

Use caution mixing different oils over the lifetime of an engine. Sometimes the kart specific oils don't mix well with generic motor oils, or even each other.

Plastic ones work great, better coverage on the rails and I haven't had to replace them yet in 3 years.
