Re: Sim Racing

We started with sim on Xbox and first bought an Xbox compatible thrustmaster wheel and pedal set. I quickly found that I didn’t like the “button” feel of the brakes and upgraded to the more advanced thrustmaster pedal set. There is a folding chair made for sim racing that’s pretty affordable as well ...

Re: New and questions...

Actually, that Canadian rule doesn't apply to you!

In the rules, they've written that it's under review for next season. So, anything could happen! Actual text below and reading it, you're not a Canadian resident... so wouldn't apply to you!

1. Canadian Eligibility (Updated 1/15/25)
The Briggs ...

Re: New and questions...

Adding on to Jason's response:

First Section:
1) Kid kart is for bambino karts and cadet karts running purple slides. The age range is competition age 6 to 12. Those nights are not open to karts with Junior (adult) frames.
3) You may find references to day memberships around these forums but they ...

Re: Two New Junior Drivers, Rib Protector Question

Hi,

Welcome to the club and good question.

The disparity between international competitions and club competition with regard to chest protectors has existed for a couple years. Initially there were concerns around supply and cost but those concerns are gradually being addressed with more cost ...

Compkart Cadet Kart $1,900

This is a well loved cadet kart with a Briggs engine. The kart was raced in the 2022 season and driven only in T&Ts and at kid kart since then. It was acquired by us after being run at the rotax grand finals and is a two stroke chassis that was converted to run 4 stroke.

It will come with a seat ...

Parolin Cadet Kart - $4,300

This kart won the Cadet Championship this year. The frame was new at the beginning of the 2024 season while the rest of the components are from a slightly older Parolin. Our driver didn't have much time to practice this year so the total hours on the frame are pretty limited at 9 race days and 4-5 T ...

Re: Fuel talk - octane, ethanol, etc.

On the co-op gas, we tested it a bunch of times last year and I found it fluctuated between zero and about 7% ethanol, I did not see 10% ethanol at any point. There was no rhyme or reason to the fluctuations, just seemed like it was in there sometimes and other times not.

To me this is the biggest ...

Re: Leader-board

On the trenching, from my time working on replacing the timing cable this year, there appears to be a 4” pipe laid all the way to the infield where the timing loop is. We only used it to the near side of the track but it appeared to keep going.

I would imagine erecting the structure in the infield ...

Re: 2023 season - tire regulation

We are also starting in rotax junior next season and are in favor of a 4 or 5 set limit for the season.
