Re: New Shifter Drver - Pointers / Suggestions
Welcome to the 'Gentleman's' club JW (this is what they tell me anyway ;)). As for gear shift ideas or tips, I don't really have any being new to shifter myself, however I believe the gearing you'll need will be pretty much 17/27, maybe 17/26 for CW. Here are a few video's of onboard footage at Nort...

Re: Warburg Summer Challenge attendance
Interested to hear more too.
In response to one of Nathan's questions, I believe it's at Warburg . There's a clue in the title!

Race Fuel?
I know it has been mentioned for the Shifter Guidelines that we can run VP C12 or Fury 108. Being new to this, I'm curious to know where both of these fuels can be purchased and at what cost?
Cheers,

Re: Gearing
I believe the ICC/KZ gearing is 17/27, so based on Joey's recommendations for stock moto and ICC/KZ at Warburg, I'd imagine something like 18/28 could work.

Re: Track Modification Survey
Nice! I do agree they would have been quicker with better gearing too
Whether you could get 'close' with a 12 tooth front or not (being practical with size of the rear sprocket), we all know that 'close' isn't good enough when chasing 10th's of a second

Re: Track Modification Survey
I'm surprised to hear that Phil, especially as the Track Lap records from the Masters class last year are 55.4 CCW and 55.6 CW. You might be right Fred, all the drivers in Rotax Senior and Masters probably have no idea what they're doing  ;) As for the survey, ummm, what were the questions aga...

Re: Potential Track Modification
Totally in favour of this concept as I think the flow will be much better. That section has always felt 'awkward' to me and in my opinion doesn't complement the track. My thoughts were the same as Jake's photoshop, which would basically just mean filling a small portion of dirt with no change to the...
