We've scheduled the Try A Kart program for Saturday August 10, 2013, and then again 2 weeks later on Saturday August 24, 2013, and are needing volunteers to step up and assist. Remember, the volunteer hours put in will go against next years fees. If you are available to help please post here or send me a private message. We need a minimum of 9 people each day, 10 would make it even easier.
We've had 2 rained out sessions this year, and have a large backlog of people previously registered.

Flag person at hairpin
Kart Maintenance
Lead/follow drivers
End of experience sales

I would offer to fill the tech shoes if I can get a head start on the "2do" list. So I can be there both days and all the time consuming jobs will be done, just last minute fixups and pre-grid prep..

I'm not sure if the club karts have been used since the last scheduled Try A Kart date of July 13 was cancelled, but they were ready to go for that. The Junior camp may have resulted in some work being required.

Karts were all ready to go for the last Try-a-Kart that we cancelled last minute. The only exception being the clutch on Phil's Rotax kart.

There are a few tires that need to be changed and the fleet should be good to go.

Again, I can do the clutch if I can get my hands on it. I will change tires too if you like, I just need access to the rims and tires.

Hey all:
Sounds like a plan!!
I'm sure lots of oil changes and tires are due. Lets get a " job sheet " system going so less time and more work done.
This is all b4 next date, Steve is the boss and delegator; everyone knows what to do b4 the date and all karts are ready other than::: Usual date mourning LOL jobs..
In the meantime; collect needed hardware and plan the strategy...How can we get a cleanup/ washup aka "Simple Green" attack going. ??

Dan, why don't you jot down some ideas, cuz I know there's a fair bit to cover, and I can take that and create/print a 'job sheet' that will make things easier to follow for each refresh.

I need to get the appropriate keys and then we can get on it as soon as possible. Once the guys get back from Edmonton & the WCC's, we'll be in business.
