You should walk it. The elevation changes and sheer size of the track will give you goosebumps.

I think we are going to need a golf cart like edmonton to get our corner marshalls out and back in a reasonable amount of time !
Maybe a fleet of bicycles ?

The layout is amazing. I think we're going to have the best track in western Canada. Amazing job by the head honchos!

Just wondering if there is a timeline on when this is supposed to be done?
Also is there any plans to have storage, I know that I'd like to be able to leave my trailer there if there is a possibility to have that option. I don't have any storage options since moving back to Calgary.

There are many factors that will dictate how soon the track is ready to drive: weather and turn out of volunteers when called for are probably the 2 biggest -but there are certainly others. In short, has been and is being worked on full-tilt but it would be unwise to speculate on a specific date.
There is a meeting tonight; it would be a good idea to attend if you are able as you will get a better feel for the scope of the project.
Get involved and bring any expertise you may have and things will go faster !

Hi Max,
The construction is planned for about 35 days and this could change depending on equipment availability and weather. So hopefully mid to end of August. As Mark said some things depend heavily on club volunteer labor, such as moving all of our equipment from our storage location and then there is set-up with interior fencing, tire bundling etc.
As far as storage is concerned, we are planning for onsite storage at some point and will accommodate trailer storage in some fashion. The details haven't been worked out on that yet.

Awesome news all around.
I had to work late and can't make the meeting. Is there someone I can give my contact info to about helping out. I work shift work and have lots of time off where I would happily help out.
