Hello everyone,

As we get closer to the 2025 season I have a couple items I would like to complete for the class. First there will be a survey to complete, where there a few basic questions and the selection of the tire rule will take place. 2nd I would like all racers who plan to race Sr.Max in 2025 to please comment below and generate some hype, comment what you are excited about for 2025.

To touch on the tire rule topic.
Last year we had the 6 sets of tires as a hard limit for the 11 club races and as a class we had the double header rule. The double header rule meant that if you were racing both days on a double header weekend (Saturday and Sunday) that you had to run the set of tires you ran on Saturday (the first day) on Sunday as well (the second day). The survey will ask what your preference for the 2025 season will be.

The survey will be left open until Feb 1st, where I will then close and look at the results and let Bryan know what the class has decided.

I am excited for the 2025 season and the hard racing that will follow. I would really like to see CKRC send another driver to Sr.Max, Jr.Max, and the Mini categories for the 2025 Grand Finals. I hope as a class we can make this happen and I look forward to racing against you guys and helping to make this happen.

Helllo everyone,

The results of the survey are that we will maintain the 6 set limit for the year and the class will maintain the double header rule from last year. If you are new to the class, the rules are as folllows.

Tire Rule
A driver in Sr.Rotax is allotted 6 new sets of tires for the year.

Double Header Rule
A Sr.Max driver who races the Saturday of a double header will run that same set of tires for the next day Sunday Race. I.E, You put a new set of tires on for Saturday then you use that same set on Sunday. This applies only for qualifying onward. For the morning practice session you can run any tires you want, as they are not scanned. We only scan after the qualifying session. A driver who only runs on Sunday can run new or used tires, so long you are within your 6 set limit for the year.
