We are moving to Rotax this year and understand our Mychron 5 wont cut it.

Any leads appreciated.

You should be fine. The run-of-the-mill M5 has RPM and coolant temp inputs - which is all you really need.

There may be a handful of people that use the 2T to add exhaust temps, but my experience is that this is a minority.

Jason is correct. You can gain a little bit of info for jetting, but the 5 will get you everything that matters. A 5s would provide more accuracy on the GPS side, but you can definitely get by with the 5.
