Looking for team

Post by Ethan parker »

Im currently looking for a team that can help support me in karting. I can’t afford a used kart so you may need to give me a kart but I can get some gear. I also need help with learning more about this sport and how to take care of a kart. I do have experience in a Briggs from try a kart and was pretty consistent in completing laps and having good pace. I hope someone will give me a chance and help me follow my dreams in being a professional racing driver.

Ethan,
It's always great to hear of people interested in karting and our club.
Unfortunately, karting is not among the most affordable sports. While it can be accessible for those just looking for fun, anyone seeking to compete seriously quickly find that race entry fees, tires and other parts can quickly add up and soon surpassing the initial cost of a kart.

The costs involved in pursuing a career in motorsport can be one or two orders of magnitude greater than that, and just a tiny percentage of competitors will make a career out of it. If you're embarking on the journey, it's best to understand what will be needed and have a plan to achieve it.

Best of luck in your pursuit.
